Meet Lacey

The love for horses has always been a part of Lacey’s DNA. From a very early age, she would talk her father into visiting a barn whenever they went on family trips, mesmerized as the barn manager shared how the day to day operations worked, from training and finances, to cleaning stalls.

Known as a problem solver, she didn’t let the fact of living in a remote location without easy access to trainers get in her way. Lacey went on to join and participate in a Dressage Club that flew in trainers a couple of times a year. But that was not enough. It was expensive and she knew that the riders and horses needed and deserved more.

Nearly two decades ago, Lacey set out to solve a problem she knew firsthand — the difficulty of finding quality horse training in remote areas. What began as an idea has been 18 years in the making, rebuilt from the ground up four times over, each version shaped by real feedback from riders and trainers. That persistence led to Saddle Stream — a platform that breaks down the geographical, financial, and scheduling barriers that have long kept riders and trainers apart, opening up endless possibilities for both.
